Hearing God’s Voice (3)
Impressions by the Holy Spirit
3 Prerequisites on How to make a request of God
1. Realise God cares about your life
Matthew 6:31-32 Don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’…your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.
2. Ask specifically
James 1:5 and 4:2b If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you…. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.
3. Believe He wants to answer
James 1:5-6a If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone.
