Kids on the Wey

WBC’s Children’s Ministry

Every Sunday

Sunday 10 -11:30am

10:00am children meet with their families for a time of praise with the whole church.

10:15am children go to their own special age related groups:

Creche     for 0 - 4 yr olds

Splash     for 4 - 7yr olds

Xstream  for 7 - 11 yr olds

(for 11+ see Sanctuary Youth Department)

Through “Kids on the Wey” we aim to:~

• Investigate God’s word

• Imitate Jesus and be…….

• Inspired by the Holy Spirit

We try to achieve this through many age related activities including :- Bible stories, children’s worship, quizzes, drama, craft, role play, prayer activities, life application discussions and  learning through play. We believe that children are the church of today. God has made each child special and we hope to nurture each child’s gift in order to help others. We want to help them grow close to God and discover his plan for their lives.

If a child wants to attend Kids on the Wey on their own they need to arrive at the Church at 10:15 am and be collected by 11:30 am approximately. Each child attending needs their parent to complete a registration form.

Friday Evenings

Kids Club on Fridays: we play games, have races, tell Bible stories, make crafts and do activities with kids that reinforce the lesson we are teaching that week. We usually have a new theme each half term.

Every Friday evening from 5:30pm - 7:00pm during school terms.

Child Protection

As a church we take child protection very seriously. We have a stringent child protection policy and all our children’s workers are DBS checked. There is a first aider present at all activities.
