Sharon is a Christian singer, songwriter, author and speaker who is based in Dallas,
She is coming to England in February to do the UK-launch of her new book and album and will be at Dorchester Baptist Church at 6.30pm on Sunday 11 th February (doors open at 6pm).
She will be singing songs from her new album Stand and reading extracts from her book, also called Stand, that accompanies the album - which tells of the inspiration for the songs.
The style of the album Stand is contemporary Christian with jazz and blues undertones. It has been described as melodically warm, lyrically interesting, and compelling. The songs lead listeners into the presence of the living God inviting them to worship Him.

The album Stand was produced by Jon-John Robinson, a two-time Grammy winner and mastered by Ian Boxill, a Grammy and Golden Globe winner.
Sharon Tedford (nee Thomas) was born and raised in Weymouth - attending St John’s Primary School, Wey Valley School and Weymouth College before gaining a BA (Hons) English and Drama at Kingston University. She worshipped at both Weymouth and Dorchester Baptist Churches.
Before relocating to Texas, she was a worship leader at Gold Hill Baptist Church, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. She helped to lead the team under the Senior Pastor Steven Gaukroger. Sharon has also led worship in events across the US, the UK and in Australia.
Sharon’s ministry is 61Things – one that is firmly based on Isaiah 61:1-4.
61Things exists to inspire and embolden Christians to keep their feet firmly planted in God’s Word, while they proclaim the Truth of who He is.
